Really….

Sometimes all you need is to sing in the shower! And please make it loud! And noisy! After working like a slave: shower singing is the thing! I do this all the time! Yes, I know. Poor neighbors, but they do deserve it! Because they are too bitchy. And I’m not that

So I decided to make a TOP 5 bands to sing in the shower:

1. The Format › Their tunes are fun, catchy, happy! And there’s something about the water and the clapping of “The First Single” that makes everything more fun and calories burning!
2. Coheed and Cambria › Singing about death, killing, rape, and other things that are often featured at CSI were a Dark Metaller Deal (or DMD as you all know…). But since Coheed and Cambria came up things started to change! Singing about this blood bath became cool[slash]dorkie but sure it works in the bath!
3. Head Automatica › Ok, I was one of the biggest glassJAw fans ever! I knew every scream, every breath of every song. I couldn’t live without it. But glassJAw just vanished… I hope for a while. And Daryl emerged from the glitter with Head Automatica. Ok, the sound is fucking great! You get to sing and dance and almost hit your head at the wall! But shaking your bootie with “Beating Heart Babe” is sooooooo fun!
4. Billie Holiday › Ok, sometimes you take a shower just to was away the sorrow. So Billie (the grandma of emo!) is the perfect match. You will slow dance into the shower, and your tears will mix with the water.
   
5. Rival Schools › Cool old post-hardcore, don’t call it emo… because emo nowadays is just like… hum crap? Sometimes singing with more feeling is great. So you will get out of the shower with just that perfect mix of water, pain and anger!

Ok! Fast Food, Fast Work, Fast Life.

Everything is supposed to be faster in our era. 10 years ago you needed to send a letter or telegram to talk to someone in other state, or even in a not-so-far city. But now you just have to sit and e-mail that info. Ta-da!

1. Where the time went? If everything is more easy and fun… Where the time went? My we have to make tons of things are the same time and it seems that we don’t have time to do anything!
2. Where is the big connection that Internet was going to give us? I was talking about that with a friend of mine that is also a web designer/web student. We talk sometimes with people that we don’t know. But how about your lovely cousin that you spent your childhood together. People don’t look interesting to keep in touch!
   

So… I love Internet. I love technology…

Shallow is the new Cult! Oh Yeah. Allow me to be shallow and talk about clothes. I had like.. no summer clothes. The ones I had were old or oversized. So I just shopped and shopped today and last weekend and I got a great deal of summerwear. Yay! The great thing is that I manage to keep a nice look and style and all the clothes work with each other!

best buy: summer witchy dress! I can wear it during winter with coats and maybe jeans.

Since I got my delicious iPod (PRODUCT) ^Red (allow me to be bitchy and say its whole name…) I became a Podcast freak. Really I used to think podcasts were really dull and boring. But since I started to really listen to them and also thanks to my beloved and twisted Alex and Oscar Show, my opinion is totally changed!

I have subscribed to 5 podcasts: Japanesepop101.com, japancast.net, Alex and Oscar show, ben lee podcast, Yamaha wind instrument. I didn’t figure out yet which japanese lessons I will take… but I will keeping watching twisted and freaky japanese porn (just for laughs). Ben Lee makes such a great podcast. Great music, so much soul in every word and lots of info on music (check it on his site ben-lee.com). Yamaha… well I didn’t listen to it yet.

Oh! If you know any good podcast tell me about it!

If you don’t know Rival Schools, you should. They are the Dream Team of the NY hardcore. Their members come from the best bands like: glassjaw, CIV, QuickSilver, etc. Great songs, great tunes, with gorgeous lyrics. One of my favorites is Undercovers On.

I just found out about Ben Lee. And I kinda love him already. All his songs are so sweet and simple, everything is very clear. An acoustic guitar, a toy piano, it’s fun, it’s cute. I just found out that he used to play with my personal music god Ben Folds at The Bens (Ben Folds, Ben Kweller and Ben Lee). So I kinda love him more. It’s really worthy to watch the video “Catch my Desease”, just like him: sweet, simple and catchy!
